Liaising with stores
During the fit out phase of existing outlets we work together with the store management team to ensure a smooth handover of the store both at commencement and completion of the project. This ensures that the management’s expectations are met and that any contact details are passed on to the relevant parties.
Supplying services
When retailers have no specific list of approved contractors we are often asked to supply these on their behalf and we select the most appropriate contractor from our pool of known trades and Bridge approved contractors.
Adherence to specification
As with all aspects of the project, adherence to the specification is paramount to the success of the project and we ensure that all trades are fully conversant with the specification prior to the project start and that it has been accurately followed on completion.
Key Dates
We understand that programmes need to be maintained as these are the main drivers of any roll out schedule. As every project date impacts another we understand that the overall success of a roll out is judged on the roll out being completed on time, whilst keeping on budget and to specification.
Monitoring costs
All projects have a budget that they must keep to and at Bridge we keep a close eye on where your money is spent, both at pre-commencement and during the project. There are sometimes projects that require additional spend during the fit out due to unforeseen works being discovered and for these rare eventualities we maintain our vigilance by issuing variation orders so that we can maintain control of the overall programme budget.
Quality and Control
Fit out work of the correct quality leads to a maintainable working environment at a sensible cost. We ensure the correct quality is delivered to keep your long term maintenance costs at a manageable level.
Outside Organisations
Most projects in retail have a need for liaising with other organisations and agencies such as Building Control, Planning and the Fire Officer to name a few. We have a good working knowledge of their requirements and we can liaise with these organisations for you.
