Managing Snagging
We feel that the post fit out phase of a project is often under valued. It is the area where projects can be judged at a later date and if not managed correctly the project is perceived to have failed despite the good work that brought the project in on time and under budget. Good management of the snagging process is paramount and at Bridge we do not call a project complete until all of the snagging items, however small, have been completed to our satisfaction.
As Built Drawings
With drawings being drawn up on AutoCAD it is a relatively simple process to change the working drawings to reflect the store with any slight alterations that may have been made along the way. Accurate “As built” drawings can help you, as a retailer, in the months and years following a re-fit or new store build, by enabling you to accurately plan any changes to P.O.S., layout and function of any part of the store without necessarily needing to visit it.
O&M Manuals
As with all aspects of the CDM regulations, we at Bridge Project Management work within the guidelines and ensure that your main contractor and sub-contractors do too. This includes ensuring they provide you with the documentation necessary to complete the health and safety file, which saves you time and money in the future when it comes to the operation and maintenance of the items your contractors have installed. In some situations this is also a statutory requirement.
